I am a clinically trained psychodynamic psychotherapist and practice flexibly integrating various perspectives and techniques to support your goals for therapy. These include relational and attachment theory, mind-body approaches, CBT and DBT skills.
My focus is on what is happening for you in your current life at the moment. Alongside this, I hold a psychodynamic perspective that considers that our early relationships and experiences continue to shape how we feel, think and respond, and how we relate to others in our current life.
Before starting a private practice, I worked supporting a diverse range of people aged 18+ at AUT Akoranga Integrated Health Clinic and the Community Alcohol and Drug Service, Waitemata DHB. Before this, I worked as a dentist for many years in hospital, community, and private practice settings.
