Krysia Lanigan

Registered Psychotherapist

I provide individual psychotherapy for adults aged 18+ based in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland & Online in Aotearoa New Zealand

What is psychotherapy?

Psychotherapy is a talking therapy that can illuminate underlying reasons for some of the emotional and relational difficulties we face in our lives.

Therapy can help you to make sense of your life, gain new insights and perspectives, and can help with accepting things you cannot change.

My approach

I work with warmth, openness, and respect to provide a confidential space where you feel supported to express yourself safely.

In psychotherapy we work together to understand how life is for you - working with a focus on the present, to explore feelings, thoughts and recurring patterns which may be causing obstacles for you.

As we become more self-aware, it is possible to view our present challenges in new ways. Psychotherapy provides us the opportunity to feel differently, to move forward and make lasting changes that enhance our sense of wellbeing. Therapy can improve how we feel about ourselves and also how we relate to the people in our lives.

I welcome diversity and have experience supporting people who face challenges in how they feel about themselves and how they relate to others
